It's true, we bought a house!
This place is great and we are really looking forward to calling this place home.
Its a turn of the Century home (my favorite kind!) in Chalk River. It's 2200 square feet with 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. (!!!) With a living room as well as a family room. It has all of the original moldings and most of the original hardwood. The home is in great condition for being 100 years old. It was built in 1910 and was the original post office for the town. We have a very large fenced-in yard (approx. 100x100ft) and the rest of the property is on 5 acres.
There is a park right across the street as well as a community center, library, outdoor skating rink, baseball diamond and an Early Years Center. Also, our neighbor is a convenience store.
We are super excited about it! The space is great both inside and outside of the house and is just what we need as a growing family.
I have no pictures of the place the I have taken personally and the pictures on MLS are mostly of their furniture. (weird!) But check it out anyway!
