Decorating the Christmas Tree... & more.

I realize these pictures are extremely out-dated. And for that I am sorry... The USB port on our computer stopped working so we had to get a new computer! (YAY!)

And just FYI, the next few posts after this one will also be out-dated. Anyway, Enjoy!

We decorated the Christmas tree In the middle of December after the HFMD and colds made their rounds in our home. The first day we were feeling well enough to actually enjoy it. Otherwise it would have been done much earlier in the month. The kids had a great time putting the ornaments on the tree. It was slightly disastrous because the ornaments kept getting dropped and broken or chewed on. So, that night Chad and I moved them all up so that only the top half of the tree was decorated. VERY Smart move on our part but the tree looks ridiculous. lol I'm sure it will have to be only half decorated for a few years to come!

A little repetitive, but here are some fun pictures of our adventures in decorating the tree..

The RCD Christmas Party... It was lots of fun but visiting Santa was TERRIBLE! Atticus was so excited in the line up and as soon as we got to Santa, he FREAKED out. and of course the twins began to cry the as well.

They were fine after they got their presents from Santa.

And one last picture of the twins modelling their new outfits made by Great Granny Mo.

Santa Clause Parade and a Happy Birthday!

... a few days late. It was my husbands' birthday on Saturday and also happened to be the night of the Santa Clause Parade in Pembroke. We had a lazy day at home (Chad's request) went out for dinner, and then to the parade.

I've never seen Atticus so excited about something! He was jumping up and down and waving the whole time. As well as eating all the smarties off the ground. A package had burst open when someone threw it off a float... Gross! He really loved seeing all the big trucks.

The twins were in awe. Just staring at everything as though they were amazed. They were so cute all bundled up in the stroller together.

For a small town parade it was pretty good. I'm used to the Calgary Santa Clause parade and I was impressed with this one! Here are a few pictures of Atticus' favorite floats.

Chocolate face from the Smarties off the ground.

Showing me all of their candy. Everyone was just piling it up on the end of the stroller. lol

Proud Mommy Moment!

This is Avah-Lynn with her "paper" as she calls it. This is the first craft she has actually taken an interest in. And I'm so proud of her for sitting and focusing on it.  We were at the Play n Learn drop in at the community center today. She sat at the craft table for a good 45 minutes putting the foam stickers exactly where she wanted them and carefully coloring around them with a crayon. Usually the crafts just go straight into their mouths. Which is what Hadley was doing. She carried that paper around for the rest of the day. When she went to bed tonight she put it on her dresser so she can get it in the morning.

She's so proud of her "paper" and so am I!

Happy Anniversary!

Wishing a very Happy 4th Anniversary to my husband.
A man who has changed and grown so much with me in the last 4 years.
I couldn't ask for a more nurturing husband or a more amazing father for my children.
 I Love You!
