Beautiful Baby Girl

... Growing like a weed already!

Emadaie had her first weigh-in today and is right back at her birth weight. 7lbs 2ozs! I'm so happy!

We couldn't be happier as a family of 6. There is ZERO jealousy to speak of from the older three. And they taking really good care of their little sister.

Christmas Day

The end of Chad's leave has come. We said good bye to him this morning as he went to work after three weeks off. We (I) love having him home with us. I truely never realize how much he does at home for us until he is away. Or back to work in this case. And at 39 weeks, I'm pretty huge and doing anything is difficult. Especially lifting kids!

Knowing this day was coming, we've been finishing up the errands, trying to get the house clean, putting Christmas stuff away and replacing it with stuff for the new baby. So once again. life has been busy. This is why I'm posting Christmas pictures today. Most of them are of the kids ripping open presents. Because that's pretty much all we did that day. Look for stuff from you if you sent us a package!

Wall to wall presents under the tree.

Asking Daddy for their stockings.

 Cute Christmas outfits!

Avah-Lynn's favorite present.

Showing off her new slippers.

Cute hats from Grandma and Grandpa Wayne.

Finding out what's in the big box! A train table!!!!!!!!!!!

After all that, we headed down to the basement where their Brand New playroom is! All the new toys were set up down there and it is FULL!!
Thank you to all of our friends and family who made Christmas really great for our kids this year. They were really spoiled! Which took our minds off of missing you all.

Christmas Eve

I really worked hard this year to make the Christmas season exciting and special for the kids. Or maybe it was just for me. It's really hard to enjoy without family and friends near. I think this will be foreshadowing many Christmases to come since there isn't really anywhere else that Chad could be posted. Unless he changed his career path. Anyway, it was really important for us to start own Christmas traditions this year.

Christmas eve was a blast!
Decorating Sugar cookies.

And a gingerbread house!

Most of the candy was eaten before it actually got on the house.

The finished product. They did a very good job!

Our lunch that day! Yummy!

A very cute idea from one of Atticus' friends. Feeding the reindeer! Even though it was FREEZING outside, they enjoyed throwing it all over the place.  Then promptly went back inside! I didn't argue! lol

Putting milk and cookies out for Santa. Amazingly enough, the twins seemed to understand that they were for Santa. There were no temper tantrums about wanting to eat one.

Opening their Christmas Eve present... Christmas PJ's!!!!

Avah-Lynn loved them so much, she carried them around until bath time.

Everyone in their PJ's all ready to hear The Night Before Christmas.
