Army wife!

That's me!

I found this online tonight and thought it was cute and very true too! (Chad is at a troop party tonight, I have time to surf the net!)

Recipe for a Military Spouse

1 1/2 cups Patience
1 lb. Adaptability
3/4 cup Tolerance
1 tsp. Courage
A Dash of Adventure

Combine above ingredients: Add 2 tablespoons elbow grease. Let sit alone for one year. Marinate frequently with salty tears. Pour off excess fat. Sprinkle lightly with money. "Knead" dough until payday. Season with international spices. Bake 20 years or until done.....

I'm currently working on the Adaptability part... sometimes my life doesn't go the way I planned because Chad needs to be somewhere else. There are so many perks to living a military life though and I am loving it so much!

Surprise!

What's better than a family of five?

A family of Six!

That's right! We are expecting another little one in January 2012!!!

We are so excited!!!!! And it is just one baby for those of you wondering... hehe

I had an ultrasound when I was about 7 weeks along and we were able to see a healthy baby with a very strong heartbeat!

I am about 12 weeks now and feeling much better. It was a rough go for a while there but I kept my mouth shut! Now I can complain out loud on Facebook!

Atticus is really excited for this baby and is completely convinced it's a Boy. When one of the twins sits or  lays down on my belly, he comes over and tells them to get off his baby brother. lol! So cute!

Father's day weekend

My kids have THE BEST dad ever.

We have a crazy family life that never stops. And he has been there every step of the way for me and his kids. I am so grateful to have him as a husband and father of my children.

I did my best to spoil him on father's day because he deserves it. Big time!

The best way to spoil Chad? Food.

I made him Chocolate Chip Pancakes for breakfast. Later that morning, we headed out to Brum's Dairy for some real Ice Cream. It was Amazing. Is it okay to go back there every weekend? hehe

Everybody (Except Hadley) loved it!

And for dinner I made Steak with shrimp in a garlic cream sauce with Fettuccine Alfredo and Caesar Salad. And Chocolate cupcakes for dessert! It was so yummy!

On Saturday we took the kids to Civic Center Days and had a blast! Atticus went on fair rides for the first time and played some games too. We saw animals which the twins really enjoyed. And Atticus got to go in some bouncy castles!

Waiting to go on the train.

Having a snack, watching Atticus on the train.

Riding the fire truck all by himself!

 Picking a duck.

He won a fish!

It was great weekend!
